Safety First!

As our community is flanked by alluring beaches and a very large and often unpredictable lake, learning how to swim and about lake safety is important. Our swim program is taught by certified instructors who are familiar with the lake and know that learning how to swim in a pool and in the world's tenth largest freshwater lake are two very different experiences. Water safety, CPR and emergency response, along with developing strong swimming skills are at the center of our program.
